I wanted to build something new and get outside my comfort zone with Ruby. I found my idea in Quizlet. I want something that looks good and doesn't ask me for subscription at every move.

I decided to use PHP with Laravel as the foundation of my stack. My current plan is to host it on either Google Cloud Run or Kubernetes. I may also consider introducing Google Ads to help offset those costs and make the project self-sustaining.
